I am probably the only professional percussionist that does not own a drumset. I only play with a concert band. I cover triangle, timpani, or drumset all the same. I listen to Liliac while driving almost everywhere, and practice double bass when the roads are quiet. Seriously, I get down to 15 miles an hour during Sail Away. I will not listen to their music while driving to concert band rehearsals or else I will be bored with our music, and I will regret sharing the good parts with others. I also do not listen to their music when driving to their concerts. I need to focus on mapquest, and Absence Makes The Heart Grow Fonder.
