THE FIRST FAMILY OF ROCK

Liliac is more than a band — it’s a phenomenon built on family, fire, and the undying pulse of rock and metal. Formed by the Cristea siblings — Melody (vocals), Samuel (lead guitar), Abigail (drums), Ethan (bass), and Justin (keyboards) — Liliac first lit up the Santa Monica Pier with electrifying street performances that stopped passersby in their tracks. What began as weekend jams for sun-drenched tourists evolved into a national touring act and one of the most exciting independent rock bands of the modern era.

From the Boardwalk to the Big Stage

Raised in a tightly knit, musically disciplined Romanian-American household, the siblings grew up immersed in the sounds of Dio, Iron Maiden, Queen, and Metallica — classics that would later echo through their own original work. Under the guidance of their father, a seasoned music producer and sound engineer, Liliac learned not only how to master their instruments, but how to channel emotion into every note.

Their early covers — most notably their now-viral rendition of Dio’s “Rainbow in the Dark” — exploded on social media, with millions of views pouring in and praise from fans and rock legends alike. It wasn’t long before Liliac became known as “the family band bringing metal back to life,” with their youthful energy and authentic old-school edge.

But Liliac wasn’t content with covers. Their original music quickly followed, culminating in albums like “Chain of Thorns”, “Queen of Hearts”, and “Madness”, each showcasing their evolution from talented teens into full-fledged rock visionaries. From Melody’s powerhouse vocals to Samuel’s blistering guitar solos, every member brings something irreplaceable to the sound — a tight, melodic storm of rhythm and rebellion.

Touring Across America & Making Their Mark

Liliac has headlined across the U.S., performing at iconic venues and major festivals, including Rocklahoma, Summerfest, and their most unforgettable appearance: a career-defining set at Welcome to Rockville, where thousands witnessed firsthand the explosive chemistry that only siblings could deliver.

Their live shows are a visceral, high-energy celebration of rock’s golden age infused with modern grit — a full-throttle experience where generations of fans come together to chant, headbang, and feel something real. From the stages of Whisky a Go Go in L.A. to sold-out theaters in the Midwest, Liliac has proven that rock isn’t just alive — it’s in their blood.

A Global Fanbase, a Fierce Community

Dubbed the “Bat Army,” Liliac’s global fanbase is a testament to the band’s authenticity and reach. From Europe to South America, fans consistently express how Liliac’s music gave them hope, strength, or simply reminded them why they fell in love with rock in the first place.

“They don’t sound like anyone else — and no one else sounds like them. Liliac is what rock needed again.”
– Fan from Germany

“Their original songs hit harder than most mainstream bands today. You feel the emotion. You feel the power.”
– Fan from Texas

The End of a Chapter — But Not the End

In 2025, Liliac announced the final leg of their U.S. tour, a bittersweet farewell to the stage (for now) as the band takes time to recharge and dive into new creative directions. This final run marks the end of a relentless era of touring — and a celebration of everything they’ve built with their fans along the way.

Though the road may pause, the music will not. Liliac is currently working on new material and exploring ways to evolve while staying true to their roots. With millions of streams, hundreds of shows under their belt, and an unshakable sibling bond, Liliac stands as one of the most unique and inspiring success stories in independent rock.

They’re not just the future of rock. They’re proof that it still has a heartbeat.
